THE PERFECT IN SINGAPORE ITINERARY

THE PERFECT IN SINGAPORE ITINERARY

It’s exciting to explore Singapore, whether you are visiting for the first or third time. You will find so many things to do and see in Singapore that we recommend this 3-day Singapore itinerary. Singapore is sometimes called “The Little Red Dot.” This once-small fishing village has since become one of the most prosperous nations in the world.

Although small, the city has many high-end boutiques, sky-high structures, and beautiful gardens. It’s clean and well-organized and felt like a combination of a bustling urban center and a tropical island.

Singapore Itinerary

There are many things to do and see in Singapore, as with most other cities around the globe. It can be overwhelming for first-time tourists. This itinerary is ideal for those with three days to explore Singapore.

We recommend choosing your favorite activities from the itinerary if you have only one day in Singapore. As you can see so much quicker, we recommend staying in the Marina Bay area.

Singapore: Where to Stay

There is a whole article on the best places in Singapore, but here are our recommendations for a quick itinerary. The best hotels in Singapore are among the top worldwide. Accommodation can be booked quickly during peak seasons such as January, February, June, and July. We recommend booking your accommodation in Singapore in advance if you plan to visit Singapore during these months.

Luxury Hotels in Singapore

Shangri-la Hotel in Singapore – a 5-star luxury hotel located among exotic gardens. It is located 7 minutes from Orchard Road, where you will find the bustle and excitement of Singapore. The hotel costs more than S$350 per night.

MBS Hotel The Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s most iconic hotel, has the World’s Largest Infinity Pool and offers a unique dining experience and a top-class casino. The Rooftop Pool and Hotel Room provide stunning views.

Singapore Hotels at a Budget

The Hotel Supreme Singapore is a friendly and clean hotel offering all the essential amenities for your stay and within walking distance of Singapore’s famous shopping street!

The Orchid Hotel This stylish hotel is located in the city’s heart. It is just a short walk from restaurants, bars, and the MRT Station. It is convenient and easy to get anywhere you want with the MRT Train.

Getting Around Singapore

There are many modes of transportation that you have the option to choose from. You can take the MRT or Buses public transport to get around if you have the time and desire to live like a local.

You can purchase a special EZ Link stored-value card allowing unlimited rides on the MRT and bus services for up to three days at $20. You can travel the fastest around Singapore by tram or MRT. The bus system is, however, the most cost-effective way to travel around the city.

You can also hail a Taxi or GrabCar, GOJET, GOJET, or TADA to move around quickly in the city.

For first-time users, search online for the app, then download it on your smartphone to see if there are any discount codes. Sometimes, you can get as much as $5 off your ride!

Singapore Itinerary Day 1: The Quays and Marina Park

The main attractions are the focus of your first day in Singapore—the fantastic views from Marina Bay Sands to the gardens by the Bay and the cloud forest. An interactive map will allow you to see the distances you’ll be covering. You can also see where everything is relative to one another.

Morning: Marina Bay

The Marina Bay Area is the best place to begin your 3 Day trip to Singapore. You will find rare and exotic species and thousands of plants in this fantastic artificial tropical rainforest. The iconic Gardens by the Bay, which covers 101 hectares in the city’s center, is part of the “City in a Garden” concept that allows the world’s natural wonders to bloom.

Every visitor to Singapore enjoys taking photos of the stunning Supertree Structures at Gardens by the Bay. The indoor Cooled Conservatory domes are worth a visit. You can also stroll along the Skyway, which offers spectacular views of the Garden from 22 meters high. This area is a masterpiece of artistry.

It is important to remember that this venue is trendy. We recommend you purchase your tickets in advance to avoid long lines for tickets.

Between Gardens by the Bay & Marina Bay Sands, there is a connecting overhead bridge (Lions Bridge). It is easy to locate; ask the staff!

Afternoon SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands

You don’t have to spend that much money on a night at Marina Bay Sands. Instead, visit Skypark for 360-degree views of the city. From this vantage point, you can see the Gardens of the Bay and the Singapore Flyer. This gives you a great view of the entire city.

This infinity pool is available only to Marina Bay Sands guests. Click here to find out how much Marina Bay Sands nightly rates! The Skypark offers breathtaking views and is well worth the cost. Book your tickets in advance.

This is the place to see the sunset. Marina Bay Sands is a great place to go at night to enjoy the light and music Spectra. It is located right in front of the building and lasts about 15 minutes. It is a must-see if you’re in the area on Fridays or Saturdays at 20:00, 21:00, or 22:00.

Merlion Park

The Merlion, the official Mascot for Singapore, is easily one of the most well-known icons in the city. You can expect many people in the park and around the statue.

This is why I placed it in the evening section of the Singapore itinerary. It is also when it is most beautiful. The statue is set against the Business district lights backdrop at sunset. This time of day is also more relaxed. You might find it hard to leave if you combine that with the cool breeze from the water.

The National icon shows a lion’s head surrounded by a fish’s body and spewing water from its mouth. It is believed that it guards Singapore’s Prosperity. You can enjoy a walk along the river after visiting the Merlion.

You can walk along the promenade for up to 15 minutes and reach Clarke Quay.

Evening: Clarke Quay

This is Singapore’s bustling nightlife district. You will find great restaurants that offer a mixture of Asian and European cuisines just across from Fort Canning Park in Clarke Quay. You are here if you love partying and nightlife. This area has many clubs that will allow you to have a great time.

I highly recommend the cruise along the Singapore River if you visit Singapore for the first time.

While you’re here, take in the vibrant nightlife, see the stunning views from Marina Bay at night, and explore the rich history of Singapore.

The boat ride is approximately 40 minutes round trip. It’s a guided tour. You can find more information about the cruise here.

I recommend dinner at the steamboat and hot-pot restaurant Hai di Lao at Clarke Quay. It is in front of the cruise center in the boat quay. It is a great place to eat and has the best service in town.

You can also choose western cuisine and dine at any of these restaurants. If time is not a problem and you are looking for more culture, Haji Lane or the Sultan Mosque might be a good choice. They are only a 30-minute walk away and well worth the effort if you have the time.
