You can appreciate the sheer size of the system by taking a flight over it.

Daintree Rainforest is considered to be the oldest rainforest in the world. Its age is estimated at 180 million years. It is many tens or millions of years older than the Amazon Rainforest.
Queensland’s rainforests are a must-see. Watch out for the Cassowary, the world’s deadliest bird.
Paddleboarding The Mossman River
We paddled the Mossman River in the Daintree Rainforest, far from the saltwater crocodiles living near the ocean. The waters of the Daintree Forest are safe for swimming.
We played on the rope swings and relaxed in warm pools. Local fruits were served as snacks. It’s a gorgeous day. Windswell Kite and SUP offer paddleboarding and kitesurfing.
Walking with an Aboriginal guide
Visiting Australia would be a waste of time if you knew about Aboriginal Culture. Consider doing a Queensland walkabout with an Aboriginal guide when looking for things to do. As you stroll through the Daintree Rainforest, learn about the culture and tradition of the Kuku Yalanji.

Martial arts expert Colin Handley runs the Australian Stunt Academy. Colin Handley, a martial arts expert, runs the Australian Stunt Academy. He was noticed by Chuck Norris and invited to Hollywood as a stuntman.
He opened the Stunt Academy in Australia after working on over 100 TV and film projects. You can train with him for a month or spend a whole day. He will teach you everything from high jumps to wire work.
Go White Water Rafting
The Barron River is located just 20 minutes from Cairns. This is where we did our white water rafting. The rapids were described as easy in grades 2 and 3, so we didn’t expect much excitement. It was one of the most enjoyable rafting trips we’ve ever taken!
We were guided by experienced guides to surfing into a waterfall whirlpool, which soaked us turn after turn. Many people fell out of the boats, and we were submerged repeatedly. We didn’t have the best conditions, but I had more thrills in class 4 rapids.
